Boxer Dog Training

The Boxer is a fantastic dog breed and is extremely active, playful and spirited. Boxer's are loyal animals and are an exceptional family pet. They are truly a family type dog and will be a loyal companion. Boxers need lots of attention and boxer dog training. They are highly intelligent dogs, which make them a pleasure to train.

 

Boxers are perfect guardians because they are very protective of their owner and the family. Boxer's large size can make people think they are an aggressive dog. Properly training and socializing your boxer is important.

 

Boxers can be very stubborn. Owning a boxer requires patience when training. Experienced dog obedience trainers start basic boxer dog training as early as 6 weeks old. Behaviors such as socialization and potty training. The quicker they are socialized the smoother the training will be.

 

Boxers need time to become accustomed to other dogs and new people. By the time your boxer is between 13-16 weeks old the important boxer dog training begins. This is when it is most critical to enforce pack leadership within boxer dog obedience.

 

This is when boxers can be very stubborn and require patient training. You have to demonstrate firm pack leadership.

 

If you train your boxer at an early age with proper training techniques you will have a wonderful, loyal, family friend and companion.
